Mindfulness Meditation classes are for anyone interested in sitting with a group in supported silence. Instructions and guided meditations focus on developing mindful awareness, wisdom and compassion. Anyone of any background is welcome, both experienced and new meditators alike. No sign-up is necessary.
Each class begins with a 20-30 minute talk drawing from both secular and Buddhist perspectives, 35-40 minutes of silent meditation, followed by group discussion. Taught by Heidi Bourne and periodic guest teachers as listed below.
