Relish summer and spend a quiet day in the wonder, peace and beauty of nature. Our daylong retreat will focus on cultivating awareness, presence and love through the contemplative practices of meditation, qigong (gentle movement), optional writing and silent hiking.
We'll begin the day with meditation and qigong then settle into the steady rhythm of silent hiking until lunch when we'll rest, talk with each other and have time for writing and/or sitting meditation. After lunch we'll silently hike back to our starting point ending our day with time to talk and a short meditation. The hike will be about 5 miles round-trip on gentle moderate terrain.
