The seeds of self-acceptance and compassion lie within each one of us. Through the practices of awareness and kindness, we have the opportunity to cultivate this deep inborn care that over time naturally increases our well-being and lessens our suffering.
Over the course of 6-weeks, we’ll explore some of the fruitful aspects and challenges of our self-acceptance and compassion for ourselves and others. With the guidance and tools to develop a deeper sense of emotional resilience and well-being, we have the opportunity to nurture the seeds of growth that lead to changes, small and large.
Everyone is welcome. No prior meditation practice is necessary. A resource and reading list will be provided.

Terry Bean is a dedicated mindfulness meditation practitioner, has been guiding meditation groups since 2018, and in 2019 completed the Training in Mindfulness Facilitation at UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center. As a mindfulness educator, Terry brings her 30-year background as an elementary school teacher where she also served as the Director for the Gifted and Talented Education Program. Terry lives in the beautiful redwoods of Northern California.
