Meet the Teachers
Heidi Bourne, RN, CMF is a meditation teacher in the Insight Meditation tradition. She has been guiding groups and individuals for over 15 years and is the founder of Pacific Mindfulness. She holds certification in mindfulness facilitation from UCLA, is a member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association, and is a visiting teacher at Spirit Rock Meditation Center.
Jen Wallace, CMF is a mindfulness meditation teacher with over a decade of personal practice and regularly facilitates mindfulness programs for groups and organizations. She holds certification in mindfulness facilitation from UCLA, and is a Certified Trainer for the Trauma Resource Institute’s Community Resiliency Model. With a 30-year background in law enforcement, Jen is employed by the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (CJTC) as the Program Manager for Sexual Assault Investigations.
Laurie Cousins, CMF is a mindfulness meditation teacher, trauma-informed nonviolent parent educator, and integrative holistic practitioner. She has extensive education and training through the mindful centers of UCLA & UCSD. Laurie is a lead teacher for Susan Kaiser Greenland’s Inner Kids Program and has a private practice in Los Angeles where specializes in supporting youth, families, and adults healing and transformation in the areas of stress reduction, addictive behaviors, trauma, and building resiliency.
Heather Lear, MA was born and raised with the dharma in a family of Insight Meditation practitioners. She teaches at the intersection of heart-centered dharma, embodiment practices including Radiant Heart Qigong, community-centered racial awakening and DEI work, and serves as the Program Coordinator at Spirit Rock Meditation Center.
