"The world is suffering; it's my job to meet it." - Frank Ostaseski...
Come join us as we take a deep dive into the timeless and beautiful teachings of the Bodhisattva, the one who meets suffering with intention, strength, determination, courage, and love.
Tuesday to Sunday
November 5 - 10, 2024
Rocky Mountain Ecodharma Retreat Center
Ward, Colorado
The path of the Bodhisattva asks us to dedicate ourselves to the well-being of all sentient beings – to show up as best as we can for ourselves, each other, and the natural world with a quality of no-matter-whatness. It’s an essential task of our times.
Drawing on the teachings of the Buddha, our retreat focuses on cultivating the capacity to skillfully navigate our everyday lives with a steady receptive mind and a courageous wise heart. Held in peaceful noble silence throughout the retreat, our practices include foundational and transformative guidance on lovingkindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity.
Each day includes meditation, daily dharma talks, gentle mindful movement, small group practice discussions, along with ample time to take a nap, a hike, and space for personal reflection.
Lodging options include small single rooms, double shared rooms, and glamping, all with shared bathrooms. Click here for all of the lodging options. Choose your lodging preference with registration.
Three simple vegetarian meals a day will be provided from dinner the first day through lunch on the last day. The meals are varied, nutritious, and delicious. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you register.
Everyone is welcome; new and seasoned meditators, LGBTQIA+, and those of any background age of 18 and over. In support of our contemplative practice and our time together, this retreat will be free from alcohol and recreational drugs.
