Join us for our signature introductory course in mindfulness and meditation!

Mindfulness and meditation give us the skills and resources to cultivate a clear mind, a kind heart and the ability to transform reactivity to responsiveness and discernment, especially in challenging times.  

Over the course of seven weeks, we'll explore mindfulness of the breath & body, thoughts & emotions, loving-kindness & ethics, and empathy & forgiveness from both secular mindfulness and Buddhist perspectives. Each class includes guided & silent meditation, in-depth practice discussion and some interactive practices.  

Beginning and veteran meditators welcome!   

Dates:
Wednesdays, January 23th - March 6th
6:30 to 8:30pm in Arcata

Course Fee:
$210 paid in advance
$225 - with donation to Community Scholarship Fund

No refunds for missed classes. Class fee includes a digital recording of each week’s class along with a summary handout. 

Cancelation Fees:
Cancelations one week prior to the first session are refundable less a $20 cancelation fee. Cancelations six days or less from the first session are refundable less a $35 cancelation fee. No refunds will be given for missed classes.
