  • Winter Practice Intensive

    Begin the New Year by deepening your practice with a small group of dedicated practitioners. Over the course of four weekly sessions, we'll focus on meditation - why we practice, what brings us back, how we practice and what we're learning.

    This monthlong Insight Meditation intensive is designed for those with established meditation practices. Each two-hour session will include 2 meditations and time to talk with each other. 

    Thursdays 8:30 to 10:30am in Arcata
    January 3, 10, 17 & 24

    Base Rate, $120
    Base Rate plus Scholarship Contribution, $150 

    Pacific Mindfulness with donate 50% of all fees for this course to the Community Scholarship Fund.

  • Everyday Mindfulness for Everyday Life

    Mindfulness and meditation give us the skills and resources to cultivate a clear mind, a kind heart and the ability to transform reactivity to discernment and responsiveness, especially in challenging times.  

    Over the course of seven weeks, we'll explore mindfulness of the breath & body, thoughts & emotions, loving-kindness & ethics, and empathy & forgiveness from both secular and Buddhist perspectives. Each class includes guided & silent meditation, in-depth practice discussion and some interactive practices.  

    Beginning and veteran meditators welcome!   

    Wednesdays, January 23th - March 6th
    6:30 to 8:30pm in Arcata

    Course Fee:
    $210 paid in advance
    $225 - with donation to Community Scholarship Fund

    No refunds for missed classes. Class fee includes a digital recording of each week’s class along with a summary handout.
