What does happiness mean to you? How do you experience contentment? What do you do to support your well-being?
Join us for this 6-week series exploring profound and enduring practices that cultivate the courageous, joyful and undefended heart, steady and balance the mind, and support us to engage our lives with kindness, awareness, empathy and wisdom. Drawing on both secular mindfulness and the teachings of the Buddha, each two-hour session will include a talk, guided and silent meditation, interactive practices including time to talk with each other.
A digital recording and summary handout of each week's session will be provided.
This series is designed for those with some meditation experience.

Well-Being Works is a comprehensive six-week program for developing mindfulness and well-being specifically for professional settings. Training the mind towards focus, balance, and insight supports individuals, enhances interpersonal relationships, and positively impacts the vibrancy and culture of the work environment itself.
The program is taught through a variety of interactive exercises and practices, along with discussions of the role of the brain, meditation, judgment and reactivity, thoughts and emotions, kindness and compassion, and mindfulness in conversations. Particular attention will be given to how the mind’s capacity to focus its awareness in the present moment decreases stress in the mind and body, while increasing curiosity, tolerance, and resilience leading to skillful response and an increased sense of overall well-being.
By the end of the program participants will have:
Settle into Springtime by deepening your practice with a small group of dedicated practitioners. Over the course of four weekly sessions, we'll focus on meditation - why we practice, what brings us back, how we practice and what we're learning.
This monthlong Insight Meditation intensive is designed for those with established meditation practices. Each two-hour session will include 2 meditations and time to talk with each other.

Base Rate, $120
Base Rate plus Scholarship Contribution, $135
One must have an established and regular meditation practice.
Please plan to attend all Tuesday sessions.
It's preferable to have taken at least one series course with Heidi or regularly attend the Monday drop-in class.
